Founded in 2004, Romero & Vallejo (Sara Romero and Mariano Vallejo) is a multidisciplinary creative studio, working in the fields of architecture, interior design, product design and creative direction.

Sara and Mariano worked in the offices of renowned architects before launching their own studio in 2004. They are senior architects and designers.

They are specialized in developing comprehensive projects, from the creation of a concept to its complete execution. This allows them to be able to approach a project in all its facets and from start to finish, eliminating the boundaries between the different design disciplines.

In the field of design, highlights his work carried out at the head of the former interior design department of the firm Hem in Berlin and, also, most recently, the creative direction for the launch of Diabla, the new brand of the renowned Spanish company Gandia Blasco.

Among his most outstanding architecture projects, is the cohousing for young people “Canónigos 10”, built in Toledo and awarded several architecture awards. The Vitápolis senior apartments are also of the same type.

Finalists of the Design Europe 2018 awards, their work has been recognized with several architecture and design awards, as well as by the specialized press AD Spain, AD France, Neo2, Experimenta,, Yooko, MARU (Korea) or Arquitectura y Diseño y las Dezeen, ArchDaily, Design Milk, Dis up, or Architecture Platform platforms.

In the field of teaching, they are design professors at the IED Madrid. They have lectured in an international setting such as at the Salone del Mobile in Milan and at the Open Lectures at BAU International University Berlin.
