Raised in New York and Tokyo, she began her career as an architect working as a project architect with renowned architect Rafael Viñoly and visionary designer David Rockwell.

 Stephanie was stablished in 2004 as a boutique architecture and design studio with a vision for practical architecture that creates, produces and integrates architecture with the arts, graphic design, fashion and lifestyle.

The company’s international works, led by its founder Stephanie Goto, range from private residences and hotels to restaurants and cultural projects. A mix in the New York culinary community (Morimoto, Monkey Bar, La Mar CebicheriaPeruana, LCL for Westin Hotel…), Corton’s design won Best Restaurant of 2009 from “Interior Design and Hospitality Design” magazines. Currentprojectsinclude a 10,000-square-foothouse in Gramercy Park.

In early 2014, Goto made an entry into rug design by collaborating with Now Carpets.
